Through in-depth workshops and task flow analysis, we deconstructed the convoluted order processing system. Using journey mapping techniques, we identified loopholes and crafted optimized solutions. Extensive stakeholder discussions validated our approach, leading to significant improvements: streamlined order fulfilment, more affordable actions, noticeable alerts, and identifiable tasks.

The OMS navigation is redesigned to group orders by their status. We introduced a workbench approach to help users manage delays and identify actionable orders quickly, resulting in faster, more efficient processing.

Revamping the Order Management System
We revamped all aspects of an Order Management System, to promote an enriched and task-oriented user experience. With System Guidance and Communication at each step along with clear Status Affordance, Task and Alert Updates, the redesigned platform was one which encouraged prompt resolution, reduced cognitive load and fostered business efficiency.
